Good morning and Happy Thursday,

We are so excited for our summer swim season to start and can't wait to see everyone in the pool and on deck. Here is a quick rundown of important things for the season:

• We need league reps for our IHGE swim team. These voluteers will represent our community at league meetings and have a vote to represent our team. Having a swim background is perferred, if you are a parent of a year round swimmer and would like to hear more about this volunteer opportunity please reach out to myself or Coach Sandy.
• You are NOT required to purchase a new IHGE swimsuit this season, wearing the old suit is absolutely fine. Please keep in mind, during meets you are not able to wear a suit or cap with a different teams logo. Please review the website for the updated suit information should you be interested in purchasing one. https://ihsc.swimtopia.com/shop
• We practice and have meets rain or shine. The only cancellation will be for thunder/lightning, or if the water temp in the pool drops below 70 degrees. If there is thunder/lightning there will be a 30 minute delay before a cancellation could be issued. For all weather related cancellations there will be a alert posted to swimtopia as well as an update in IHGE Facebook Community Page.
• Tuesday, May 27th will be our first evening practice. All practices will begin at 6pm. Our team and families are asked to please wait outside the pool gates until Coach Sandy calls everyone into the pool area. The residents of IHGE have access to the pool until 6pm.
• There will be NO evening practice for ANY swimmers needing assistance while in the water. If you have questions about what level your swimmer should be please reach out to Coach Sandy.
• June 16th will be the start of morning practices and our stroke clinic. Schedule will be as follows: 8am-Stroke Clinic, 8:30am-Level 1, 9am-Level 2, 9:30am-Level 3, 10am-Level 4.
• If you would like to help with concession donations, that opportunity is available, and greatly appreciated. There is an Indian Hills Swim Club Wish List public on Amazon if you would like to help the team through concession donation. The prices for these items seemed to change depending on where you go to purchase, please feel free to get them wherever it makes sense for you and your family (Walmart/Sams/Costco/Amazon whatever works).
